Strawberry Lemonade Gelatin Gummies

Gelatin should be in everyone's diet, especially if you are eating muscle meats and foods high in tryptophan. Gelatin is a good source of the amino acid glycine, which is great for hair/skins/nails and gut health. These natural gummies are a great treat or snack!

RECIPE CARD


Servings: 1-4

Prep Time: 5 minutes

Cook Time: 8 minutes


Ingredients

1/2 cup fresh lemon juice

1 cup pureed strawberries (fresh or frozen)

2 tbsp of gelatin

1 cup of water

2 tbsp of raw honey (or other natural sweetener) 

Instructions:

1. Bloom your gelatin by adding it to the cup of cold water (5 minutes)

2. Add strawberries and lemon juice to a pot and stir on medium heat. Once mixture is hot, add gelatin and honey
3. Whisk and heat for another few minutes until everything is well combined
4. Remove from heat and pour in food grade silicon molds
5. Place and refrigerator for 3 hours or overnight and enjoy! Should last 4-5 days
