Cordyceps is a rare, potent, and highly treasured mushroom for over 2,000 years. One of the premiere tonic herbs, Cordyceps has an ancient reputation for enhancing life. While having very similar properties to ‘Cordyceps sinensis,’ Scarlet cordyceps has shown higher amounts of ‘Cordycepin’ and slightly different chemistry than the ‘C. sinensis,’ (Chinese Cordyceps).
