Claim Used as an expectorant (helps mucus expulsion) to help relieve coughs. Helps to support/improve respiratory function in patients with chronic bronchitis. Helps to relieve coughs and helps expectoration (loosens mucus) in patients with chronic bronchitis. Used as an expectorant to help relieve symptoms associated with chronic bronchitis. Children 3-12 years: Used in Herbal Medicine to promote sweating (diaphoretic), to help relieve fever (in cases of common colds, flus).
